Frequently Asked Questions

What's included in the plan set? +

Each purchase includes DXF files for CNC cutting (compatible with laser, plasma, waterjet, and router machines) and PDF prints showing bend dimensions and angles. Physical materials, parts, and step-by-step assembly instructions are NOT included.

What file formats are provided? +

We provide DXF files for CNC cutting and PDF files for bend details and reference. No 3D files (STEP, IGES, etc.) are included.

How are the files delivered? +

Files are emailed within 24-48 hours of purchase. Please check your spam/junk folder if you don't see them in your inbox.

What materials do I need? +

We recommend 5052 aluminum for best results. Each product page lists exact material requirements including sheet sizes and thicknesses. Marine-grade aluminum can be used but costs more and may be harder to bend and weld.

What size CNC table do I need? +

This varies by boat: 6ft/1.8m plans require at least an 8ft (2.4m) table. 10ft/3m plans need at least 10ft (3m). 12ft/3.6m plans need at least 10ft (3m) but some parts may need to be split and welded.

Can I build multiple boats with one purchase? +

Each purchase is licensed for ONE boat build. If you and a friend plan to build multiple boats, email us for a discount on additional licenses.

Do you provide welding or fabrication support? +

No. This is an advanced fabrication project for experienced welders and fabricators. We do not provide welding instruction or fabrication support.

Are jet intake plans included? +

No. Jet intake plans vary by engine and pump setup. You must source or design your own intake based on your specific powertrain.

What skill level is required? +

This is an ADVANCED project, not for beginners. You must know how to weld aluminum, read technical drawings, and operate fabrication equipment.

Do you sell completed boats or kits? +

No. We only sell digital plan files. You must source all materials, cutting services, and parts yourself.
